Rooted in Kerala tradition, built for Mumbai life
We started Serene in 2014 with one goal: bring an authentic, unhurried Ayurvedic massage practice to a city that rarely slows down.
A quiet studio, twelve years in
Serene Ayurveda Spa opened on Turner Road in 2014, founded by therapists trained in Kerala's traditional Ayurvedic centres. What began as a two-room studio has grown into a team of eight, without changing what the practice is built on: real technique, real oils, and enough time for each session to actually work.
We don't run guests through a fixed script. Every visit opens with a short consultation so the therapist can adjust pressure, focus areas, and pacing to what your body needs that day — whether that's a first-time relaxation massage or ongoing deep tissue work for a chronic issue.
Three things we don't compromise on
Certified therapists
Every therapist is trained and certified in traditional Kerala Ayurvedic technique, with a minimum of three years' experience before joining Serene.
Organic, cold-pressed oils
We use only cold-pressed sesame and coconut oils, warmed and infused in-house with herbs — never synthetic fragrance bases.
Unhurried sessions
We book one guest per room per slot. No overlapping appointments, no rushing the closing steam and tea.
